Anita Singh is the founder and owner of All About Art, Airdrie.

Anita is a versatile artist, talented in various art forms including but not limited to - sketching, water colors, acrylics, oil painting, charcoal, knife, decoupage, fabric and silk painting, ceramics, decoupage, tie and dye, batik and pot painting. Her school aims at providing quality and competitive art education in a warm and friendly environment to students of all age groups and skill levels.

Becky Kundert is a self-taught artist whose full time employment at a high end custom woodworking shop allows her to utilize the industrial products she uses to finish cabinetry and furniture to create unique art.

Retired Bruce Milam, pronounced MY-LUM, works in acrylic on canvas, is self taught and paints a variety of subjects with the arctic theme being of most interest. He frames all his work in a rustic manor using reclaimed materials. His affordable originals allow him too pursue his hobby from his Airdrie home.

The gift of a camera from her grandfather sparked Cheryl’s interest in photography at a very early age. Cheryl found her niche when she focused her talents on Restoration to Fine Art.  She creates wonderfully personal Fine Art pieces from your own photographs. 
Incorporating canvas, aluminum, and watercolor printing makes her beautiful work truly unique. 

Working together, Cheryl and artist, Diane M Anderson created the unique process of ”Syntesi Fine Imagery” the coming together of  photography and paint.

Growing up in Central Alberta, the Prairies will always be my home.  I love to capture local landscape through photography and iPhone editing.  Having the flexibility of mobile editing has been an amazingly creative tool for me.  I love experimenting and learning and am excited to see what this next year will bring.

David Thompson is an Airdrie resident arriving from Ontario eight years ago. He works primarily in an illustrative form of pen and ink but includes acrylic and oil paints in some of his works. David studied Graphic Arts and Fine Arts at Georgian College of Applied Arts in Barrie Ontario and is heavily motivated by music. Currently he is working on a series of thirteen pieces reflective of that influence utilizing many types of media.

Ingrid is an active member in the arts both as a volunteer and a painter.  Her greatest interest is out-door painting of the landscape in watercolours but also dabbles in oils and acrylics when time permits.  Ingrid is self-taught to a large extent and continues to expand her knowledge through workshops given by well-known artists. 

Founded in 2001 by Jane Romanishko, Airdrie School of Art introduces students to the basics of realistic drawing and painting in a friendly, non-competitive atmosphere. John Smythe is a self developed artist.  In the mid 1980’s he began a serious interest in wood turning which he continues to develop. 

Early civilizations made vessels for practical use.  Vessels display the beautiful grain within the wood.  Decorated wood turning is relatively new and has now become an artist’s medium, while retaining the beauty of the wood itself.

Jolene loves to hunt for antique and vintage furniture, then upcycle and repurpose it, with the help of chalk paint and wood stains, into an original work of art. What's so great about updating vintage and antique pieces that are made with real wood!  You get a unique, one of a kind, quality piece of furniture art to display in your home.

Rylee Petkau has been known to try her hand at any art form and travel anywhere to develop it. Rylee’s interests and talents span from paintings with acrylic on anything that can be painted on, to tattoo design and henna. Currently she spends most of her creative energy working in her small studio creating pottery and teaching the art of clay, through Clay for Kids, for numerous different organizations and camps in Calgary, Airdrie and area.

Sally Banks is a self-taught beadweaver who stumbled into the wonderful world of beads several years ago. Her work is often inspired by natural colours and contours. Her style is eclectic, ranging from earthy to elegant, classy to casual. Many of her pieces are one of a kind.

I have been a Rocky View County resident for 20 years. I graduated with distinction from the Alberta College of Art and Design from 1986 - 1989 in Drawing (mixed media) and 1989 - 1991 in Ceramic (sculpture). In both my drawings and my sculpture I try to combine a variety of media, incorporating paint, paper, clay and metal. Pattern and the figure are strong visual elements in my work. Found objects are also used to create texture and depth to each piece.
